Amazing ryokan situated right above the river in Gujo-hachiman, I had a spectacular view from my balcony. There is a nice japanese style bathroom to relax in and take a warm bath after a long day. I stayed in a Japanese style room with a very comfortable futon, they even provide free yukata !

It is very clean and the room was spacious. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast provided by the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful even though they barely speak English.

Hotel Miki is a traditional Japanese staycation style hotel and my family love it here! The room was a little old but was well kept. The hot spring is spacious with variety of baths both in and out door. The view of the out door bath was quite nice. Dinner was amazing! Traditional hot serves of Hida beef on spring onion miso serving in Kaiseki style (12 courses meal) worth every penny! The staff were mostly comunicating in Japanese and a bit of English but they were helpful and very welcoming.
