I don't have a lot of experience with Ryoakans but this one met all my expectations. It's extremely clean, the rooms are are really pretty, the futons are comfortable. People wprking there are really helpful. I love it and recommend to anyone

The hotel went beyond our expectations. Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived to when we checked-out. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and professional, the onsen area is beautiful and has a view over the mountains surrounding the hotel. For breakfast, we opted for the traditional Japanese restaurant and everything was perfect, form the food to the ambience and the location.

Our stay was the highlight of our trip. The hotel arranged a pick up service from the nearest bus stop and was very punctual and reliable. They also offered pick up and drop off service for the bus stop during our stay which was very convenient. The breakfast and dinner was amazing and staff were very friendly. Reception staff were also very helpful in sending my luggage to the next hotel. It was the perfect place to relax.

Every thing was great, welcoming host, confortable and large rooms in the japanese style, convenient location to easily visit the most important spots in Hakone (Gora, open air museum, cable car to Owakudani, Pola museum, Togendai and the lake, Fuji san view and trails, ...), and above all, amazing food, delicious and very refined Japanes cuisine, both for diner and breakfast.
