The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room. Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it! The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning. We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English. We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time.

Our overall stay was amazing, we stayed two nights. The people who own and run the place are so friendly, the staff are so courteous and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. It was an amazing experience for my wife and I.

The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude. I had the most amazing stay in this inn and will come back stay again. Dinner was delicious and location was perfect near bus terminal and short walk to lift 3 ropeway and lawson. location very centralised. the rm n inn was very clean, cozy and comfy. i had a good sleep here. staff were super friendly and sweet.

We had an excellent stay, food and presentations were exquisite. We admired the thought that went into presenting food in dishes that are compatible with the “mood” of the food. Only 5 minutes walk to the lift. Staff were professional, rooms were comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
