Rooms with foutons were very clean, warm and well designed. You will have all the checklist of a good ryokan here: several onsens (even outside one), yukatas, kaiseki. Great dinner served in your room with breakfast in the dining room. Shuttle to local train station available. Cater for foreign visitors with larger size footwear, extra layer of mattresses on tatami floors, explanation of how to use the facilities of the ryokan via video with English subtitles on TV info channel in your room.
