L’établissement Yuze Hotel se situe à Kazuno, dans ce quartier : Yuze Onsen. This place! I cannot describe how amazing the room with private onsen is. Super spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view to the mountains. Breakfast and dinner were delicious (buffet style), enough vegetarian options. There's a free drink bar available for the afternoon/evening hours as well. I didn't use the public bath because they don't allow visible tattoo's though.

Chambre spacieuse et propre, lits confortables, repas excellents, le personnel est extrêmement agréable. Les onsen privés et le café disponibles dès le matin sont un vrai plus.

L’établissement Kashintei Shirahama vous accueille à Senboku, à respectivement 15 km et 49 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Source chaude de Nyuto et Gare de Morioka. The property is facing a beautiful lake and it’s a relaxing setting for those busy people coming to decompress there. They have outdoor and indoor, private Onsen ofurô, and the room was wide and spacious, including areas such as bathroom and shower, with separation of spaces, providing privacy. The eating/working room was across from the room which allowed my husband to read and check emails without distractions. All in all it’s a well thought space setting. Kudos to the architect.

L’établissement Yukemuri no Yado Inazumi Onsen comprend des hébergements à Yuzawa. Tous les hébergements de ce ryokan 4 étoiles offrent une vue sur la montagne. Top-tier luxury. This place is what you get when you give someone a very generous budget and ask them to dream up the most comfortable Ryokan they can think of. The whole place was in tatami mats and it was comfortable to walk about barefoot or with socks. The baths themselves were the best out of all the ryokans that I have tried. They offered a range of different shampoos and soaps, and multiple indoor and outdoor baths - ranging from stone/natural baths to wooden tubs. There is also a sauna and cold bath, and it is here that I discovered the adrenaline rush and relaxation that comes with alternating between a hot sauna and cold bath. There are also privates baths (yes there are two!) that are free for use, unlike other ryokans that charge you for them. There are free treats everywhere - ice pops and milk (my favourite!) at the baths, various snacks and drinks (coffee, various teas, vinegar drink and even beer and shochu!). Then at 10-10.30pm, you can get a bowl of ramen, with the Akita specialty: Fish Shottsuru. Best, most premium and complete bath amenities out of all the ryokans I have visited. They also have well-placed cold water dispenser and places where you can simply sit after your bath to enjoy the view. They also offer a "pillow library" where you can personally compare different types of pillows and choose the ones that you like best! Best facilities out of all the ryokans I've been to (perhaps to make up for the lack of things to do by way of local attractions and how isolated it is). There are traditional Japanese children's games, origami and even a quaint library. Layout of the room is great too - I like that there is a separate "reception" area where you can keep your bags and clothes separate from the main sleeping/living quarters. I also like the little table in front of the window - perfect for a quiet reflection.

L’établissement Katakurinohana vous accueille à Senboku, à 15 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Source chaude de Nyuto. Il offre une vue sur le lac. Belle chambre de style japonais avec vue sur le lac. Possibilité de privatiser un bain extérieur avec la vue magnifique sur le lac Tazawa. Les espaces partagées (hall, onsen..) dans le calme et sérénité, avec de petites attentions qui font plaisir et rendent le séjour plutôt magique. Tout cela également grâce à l'investissement et la gentillesse du personnel.

L’établissement Onsen Yupopo se trouve à Senboku, à 33 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Source chaude de Nyuto. Il propose un jardin, un restaurant et un parking privé gratuit. LOVED the breakfast spread and the access to onsen. I went at an early hour and it was very peaceful. We were able to see sakura from the window of our room. We only stayed one day but enjoyed our stay!

L’établissement KAMENOI HOTEL Akita Yuze se trouve à Kazuno, à 38 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Station de ski d'Appi Kogen. Il propose un restaurant et un parking privé gratuit. Le personnel est très aimable, la chambre est grande, propre et confortable. Les repas étaient fabuleux. Il y a de jolies balades à faire dans les environs (gorges de Yuze). Le onsen était également très appréciable après une journée de marche dans la neige!

L’établissement Yokote Central Hotel se situe à Yokote, à respectivement 24 km et 33 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Gare d'Omagari et Shigarai Ski Area. This is old hotel but you can see they did upgrade some facilities. There are smart TV and ceiling in hotel room. Room is clean. They also provide free curry for dinner.

Situé à Senboku, le Tazawako Lake Resort & Onsen dispose d'un bain de source chaude. Vous pourrez utiliser le local à skis et profiter du restaurant sur place. Very nice hotel with a classy onsen and a very rich breakfast and dinner buffet. Child-friendly (games room) and pet friendly. Spacious and clean rooms. Shuttle service from the train station. In the immediate surroundings there is a temple with a large garden, unfortunately not very well maintained. Good public transport to the lake and the mountains.
