Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. Kyoto Station is a 15-minute drive from this property. The staff are very welcoming. Not all of them speak English but they all made extra effort to communicate and make sure we have a good stay.

Massage service is also provided at a surcharge. Luggage storage is offered, while laundry service is offered at an additional charge. Exceptional place with a great public bath. I don't recommend the breakfast option if you haven't tried Japanese breakfasts before.

Amazing staff, super nice and very helpful: we were offered tea and sweets when we arrived, they also helped carrying our luggages to our room and provided many information about the surroundings and Kyoto in general. You can use the onsen in front of the hotel for free, it had many bath, a sauna, truly amazing ! The room was a traditionnal japanese tatami mat one, you have different options for your futon, it was very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. We felt very welcome and had an amazing stay, thank you !

Girls at the reception know English well, give plenty of information on the surrounding area, are very polite and accommodating. Room was spotless, and so are the other hotel facilities. Internal design is an interesting mix of a traditional style and modern conveniences

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Excellent hospitality! Their staff was very nice and friendly. They helped to take photos for me & arranged my baggage to the train station. Overall, a perfect service for the guests.

Guests stay in rooms with paper screens and exposed wood, and sleep in Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. An LCD TV, an electric kettle and a fridge are provided. Bathrooms are shared, but each room has a private toilet. Amazing room, amazing stuff and amazing food!!! It definitely exceeded my expectations! The stuff was so lovely since the beginning, the dinner was Amazing, the stuff also helped me with the cooking part) I had a room with private outdoor bath, how it was...? Wonderful, definitely recommend it! I could go late at night, early-early in the morning! Will definitely come again here, the Service - TOP!!!

Rooms feature tatami-mat flooring, comfortable futon bedding and paper sliding screens. They are fitted with an LCD TV and a safe. Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. I really loved the ajinkan meditation and how the monk was kind and cheerful and pleasant. It was such a nice experience to learn something new and to have such a pleasant person that you can ask about meditation. It was so nice! The dinner was really fantastic and I was most pleasantly surprised how warm the room was because it was cold season.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. This was my favorite hotel. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was sick from food poisoning and could not enjoy it to the max, but the staff was extremely good to me. I cannot thank them enough. The futon beds were extremely comfortable, all the structure really took me back to almost 200 years ago. I really wanted to get the traditional breakfast, but I was too sick so I got the western one that was delicious. Cant wait to be back.
