This was maybe my favorite place I stayed during my five weeks of travels. The location you cannot beat. Walking distance to one of the best beaches. Equipment rentals are available conveniently near the beach along with numerous restaurants. I chose to eat breakfast and dinner here and it couldn't of been a better choice. The meals were incredibly delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The staff is super friendly and can help you figure out any adventures or transport. It was very kind of them to include all of my transportation needs in my stay. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Each unit includes a safety deposit box and some rooms have sea views. At the ryokan, each unit has bed linen and towels. Everything from A to Z. Carefully chosen staff. spectacular food 9 course suppers. Had to ask for 1/2 portions after 1st night to get through it. Car would help to get to the beach. Google translate definitely helped.

She greeted us kindly every day, and she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome on the island. She even prepared local treats for us every day! She gave so many recommendations! The space is very quaint. The semi outdoor shower and kitchen are wonderful. We slept wonderfully listening to the nature sounds. Highly recommend this spot!!!

The friendly English-speaking host provided everything I needed for my first two days on Ishigaki. I loved the carefully prepared meals (even the miso soup was different all four times!)

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were beyond lovely, so polite and helpful. They carried my suitcases to my room and were generally wonderful. The Japanese / Chinese restaurant on site is to die for, such delicious food. They offer a free shuttle service from the airport too, timed perfectly for flights. Everything there just felt easy, like they have you covered.
