The most tranquil, sublime mountain setting imaginable. You can watch pairs of geese from your window glide across your private lake. Our kids loved kayaking on the lake, the hot tub, log fires, the steam shower, walking to the river, tobogganing at Mt Hutt, the local hot springs… we did too. What’s not to love.

The location is great which is very close to the hot springs. The room is very comfortable, and warm and is also pretty quiet although it is beside the main road of Hanmer springs. The owner of the hotel is very nice.

Lovely alpine style units which were modern and well equiped. All you would want for a few days in lovely Hanmer. Only a short walk to town and the hot springs are virtually across the road. Host was very friendly and made us feel right at home.

There are some parking spaces available, and the hot springs are within walking distance. The kitchen and restaurant space is sufficient, though it might be because there aren't many people using it. The hallways are all very clean and tidy.

Perfect location and very comfortable after a long drive. Even provided towels for the hot springs. Excellent kitchen so we could cook a good breakfast. Bistro 31 few doors down excellent supper. Helpful friendly staff.
