Private spa was perfect - the water is hot spring water. I can enjoy private spa without going to one of those hot spring places. the room was quite, nice and clean. It contains everything we needed, with tea, hot chocolate and coffee provided.
We had the best stay at the hotel. We felt so at home, and were welcomed by the lovely friendly owner and were allowed to use the hot springs any time we wanted as we arrived quite late. We had a great time at the hot springs and then our room had heated blankets, breakfast the next day was so lovely, great selection of continental breakfast.
Historic hotel and hot springs, quiet and beautiful environment
Great location with the hot springs. Big old hotel is great to see being kept running. Food in restaurant was good too
Really enjoyed the hot springs
a friendly and warm welcome B&B, the breakfast is well prepared by the host Madam Nanette herself. She can bring & create a warm & social atmosphere among the guests during breakfast time. She zealously gave me a towel for soaking hot spring & hot sprint voucher :) This is totally a different voyage experience that make the friendly interaction between guests and hosts, which allow us to share more trip experience.
The hot springs were relaxing and facilities were clean
Convenient location, surrounded by a few nice restaurants. There is also a spa nearby, if you want to soak in the hot springs remember to bring a bathing suit to Rotorua. I like the lounge, you can watch TV or chat with other guest.
The executive suite with a spa was fantastic, and I’ll book it again. Plenty of room to spread out. Kettle, microwave, big sink and fridge were great to make it a little home away from home for a day. Spa was in its own separate room, plenty of space for at least 4 people in the spa so very comfortable if you’re on your own or a couple. Temperature held well which was great. Bed was comfortable and pillows not too soft. Staff were friendly and it was no nonsense which I liked.
