Padma Resort Ubud, hotel in Payangan

Located in Payangan just 13 km from Ubud, Padma Resort Ubud offers luxurious accommodation surrounded by lush greenery. WiFi access is available throughout.

The setting of the hotel is fantastic, the surroundings simply beautiful. The infinity pool was amazing with stunning views. We preferred the pool restaurant to the main Puhu restaurant although not as much choice. The Spa was lovely and providing a free shuttle into Ubud was helpful.

Senetan Villas and Spa Resort, hotel in Payangan

Situated in the tranquil area of Ubud, Senetan Villas and Spa Resort offers a wonderful retreat villa featuring private outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi access.

Unfortunately our stay here was not the 5* we expected. The villas have been rotting with mould by the looks of it since they were built 11 years ago.. Every peice of furniture was rotting, covered in mould and well in need of replacing. The villas absolutely stank of mould and damp! The first villa they gave us was overrun by ants and other bugs, the 2nd was a little better but no way was it 5 star. Our honeymoon was ruined due to mould illness

Bersila La Maison Du Bonheur, hotel in Payangan

Featuring inner courtyard views, Bersila La Maison Du Bonheur features accommodation with patio, around 7.3 km from Tegallalang Rice Terrace.

It was in a beautiful setting, I had my own section of terrace beyond my patio overlooking the jungle ravine where I practiced yoga in the morning. There was also a small yoga room, and an outdoor massage room where I had the Background sound of birds to nourish my soul - the only one I could find in Bali so far! There was free transport to local spots after checkout.

Review: My recent stay at Hanging Gardens of Bali was nothing short of a magical experience. From the moment I arrived, I was mesmerized by the beauty and tranquility of this hidden gem nestled in the heart of Bali's lush jungle. Accommodations: The accommodations at Hanging Gardens of Bali are simply breathtaking. My villa was perched high above the treetops, offering panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and the Ayung River below. The villa itself was a masterpiece of design, with luxurious furnishings, a private infinity pool, and all the amenities one could desire for a truly indulgent stay. Service: The service at Hanging Gardens of Bali was second to none. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive care throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every moment was nothing short of perfect. Special thanks to the concierge team for arranging unforgettable excursions and ensuring that all my needs were met with a smile. Dining: The dining experience at Hanging Gardens of Bali was a highlight of my stay. The restaurant offers a tantalizing array of gourmet dishes inspired by traditional Balinese cuisine, all served in a breathtaking setting overlooking the jungle. Each meal was a culinary delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and impeccable presentation. Facilities: The facilities at Hanging Gardens of Bali are truly world-class. From the infinity pool that seems to float amidst the treetops to the serene spa where I indulged in a blissful massage, every aspect of the resort was designed to provide guests with the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation. Location: Located in the heart of Bali's lush jungle, Hanging Gardens of Bali offers the perfect retreat for those seeking peace and tranquility. Yet, despite its secluded location, the resort is just a short drive away from Ubud, allowing guests to easily explore the cultural attractions and vibrant markets of this charming town. + - Beautiful place - Amazing surroundings.

+ - Beautiful place - Amazing surroundings. - Friendly staff - Good food - Spacious rooms - - Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly) - Little bit overpriced (laundry service, taxi service) - Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours) - The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

It is a relaxing place you can enjoy the rice terraces and crops around with this mystic that you can feel visiting the temples. Also, you can find many options to enjoy a relaxing bath in a waterfall.

This property was absolutely amazing. Being in the heart of the jungle was such a unique experience and Banyan Tree Escape made our first trip to Bali so memorable. The staff was what made this experience so dear to our heart. Our host, De Gus, went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even assisted with setting up our proposal. It was perfect!! The staff at the spa were exceptional and even management took a moment to introduce themselves to us and congratulate us on our engagement. We simply cannot recommend this property enough!

Very nice jungle resort. The pool is very good and the view on photos is accurate. This place is located in local village with hardly any tourists. Its close to Ubud and you can get there, or to rice fields areas and back easily with use of taxi for reasonable price, or scooter that you can rent in resort. You can also just stay next to pool all day just to chill as they have kitchen available with food of reasonably priced and of reasonable standard. I would definitely come back in case I would get a chance in future.

We love it! It’s amazing. They have jungle inside their property. They have canyon, holy water. And ohhh the breakfast was delicious with lots of variation on the menu from continental breakfast, american, indonesian even balinese breakfast. We also take the cycling session around the ricefield. And following the balinese tradition called ‘melukat’ to wash away negativity and to bound our love to eternity. Ahh yes, we celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a very nice romantic dinner. We will be back for sure!

Quite far outside of Ubud, in the middle of the rice fields, it's quiet, although lots of frogs around, the view on to the rice fields is stunning. The open rooms leave air through, so it's never really hot in there. Huge bathroom, interesting design. Very friendly staff! Breakfast is tasty too.
