Lovely place, lots of historical and interesting places to visit. Great scenery, lots of colourful houses with beautiful flowers adorning the exteriors. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and surroundings. Parking is very difficult in and around Sintra. Try to avoid driving if possible, the traffic police are very keen!! Beware!

A nice place to visit but full of tourists. The nature around is beautiful and you can visit some of the attractions but expect a lot of people. You can find anything from beaches to forests, all in a 15-minute drive. The roads are narrow and it's hard to park.

There are many historical places in Sintra that can be reached on foot. if you go to the right of the historical museum you can find a small restaurant on the balcony where they bake bread in a wood-fired oven. unfortunately I forgot the name, but you can see the sign. Very charming. And visit Long Beach and the restaurant near the rock and try octopus on the grill. Very recommended.

The roads are very tight, the crowds of visitors are intense and some of the locals working in local shops/restaurants are very rude and completely over having to deal with tourists. However, the views are amazing and the Moorish Castle was very cool. Difficult place to travel but worth it!

Sintra was a lovely town but I like Aveiro better especially the hotel we stayed in. The hike to the palace is not that hard. Proper hiking shoes and clothes should be worn. It is not a stroll through a park. You will be climbing up and down narrow stairs. Bring water. The palace is beautiful!.

Very touristy and difficult to manage with a car. Quite pricy. Good food at Tascantiga though. Pena palace was too busy to enjoy properly though the Moorish castle was great. Shame didn't have enough time to visit Quinta da Regaleira.

This was the best property by far, that we stayed in on our Portugal trip. It 100% deserves a higher rating. Beautiful setting and decor, very spacious and well set room with large comfy bed (again comfiest bed to date) and incredible shower with plus towels (always a sign of luxury). The staff were friendly and helpful and have a great recommendation for dinner just down the road at a small local restaurant. We had one of our favorite Portuguese meals there. Highly recommend and would come back! Obrigada!!

Absolutely beautiful facility! Best of all was the extraordinary staff that took such great care of everything and everyone. The views were breathtaking and the location was perfect for exploring everything from the palace to the old town. The manager was so kind helping us make reservations at the best local restaurant, and there was a wonderful game room where the kids could play chess and cards while we wrote postcards or relaxed with a book. Absolutely the best place we stayed in all of Portugal.

The location was definitely our favorite during our trip in Portugal. The staff was excellent to work with, and the rooms were excellent. It was great to have a couple apartments close to each other in the same complex, and there are set up in a way that you don't hear much noise from the other occupants. The location is perfect for walking around Sintra. Close to the train station. Walking distance from several site. Definitely worth the stay.

This was a huge apartment, with close proximity to the main areas of sintra. For us, it was a bonus that it wasn’t in the centre, and therefore close to free parking, since we had a rental car. Antonio was very helpful and gracious in helping us to get settled. Bedrooms were very comfortable, and we appreciated the space as this was our first night in Portugal after flying overseas, so it was a good spot to try and settle our jet lag.

This studio was the perfect choice for a relaxing stay at the most stunning beaches of Portugal. Strawberries, bodyboards, bike, yoga mat, a huge terrace with lots of privacy and different seating spots in the garden. In the night you could hear the sea. The studio was extremely clean & comfortable with lots of things for daily use. I would definitely recommend this studio to everybody!

The accommodations are both special and comfortable in addition to being close to Sintra. Great breakfast and treats! If you have the chance to stay here, take it. It was a highlight of our Portugal trip. I hope I get to return someday.

Beautiful property designed and decorated with great taste and care to details. Free parking. Excellent staff. We stayed at a separate apartment which gives you more privacy. A small boutique hotel that met all our expectations; I wish we could have stayed longer. Good location, 20 minutes walk from Old Sintra and out of the tourists craziness if you prefer that
