We booked the place 1 hour before the end of checkin period, and arrived 30 minutes before the end of it, and the host still let us in somewhat later. Excellent option for a short stay during a long autobahn trip. In the nearby Alfeld, a bakery served us fantastic beef tartar sandwiches in the morning (If I'm not wrong it was the Wacker bakery).

The apartment was fully equipped with all the amenities you could get and was recently renovated (the pictures are older than the real look but it is much better). The outside was really really great, the landscaping was cured at details with a lot of trees and birds singing. The guest it self was very nice and understanding even about the noise of my 3 super energetic kids. I highly recommended this place!
