The property was very clean and spacious. Lots of natural light and beautiful view. Great location and storage for the bikes. Everything was provided in the apartment and was at best cleanliness.

We loved the fact that there was a swimming pool, it was a real bonus as it was during a heatwave. Our room, the "unusual" was amazing, so comfortable, it was located above the communal kitchen are, but was quiet at night. Don't be put off by the fact that this room has a water bed, it was really comfortable, and the air-conditioning was a huge bonus. The hosts were very generous with a whole selection of bits for you to use, the wide variety of hot drinks was a real benefit, and the honesty fridge was well priced and very useful. The location was stunning, and the breakfasts were delicious, one of the nicest we had had. For us everything was perfect, we would definitely go back and stay in the same room again, it was a wonderful stay. Regine was very helpful, especially as we have only just started learning French less than a month ago. On our travels, Google Translate is always our friend for those situations where we need a little help.

André and Martine are a golden couple. They will do everything they can to help you. Room itself is compact, all basic necessities are there. Nothing more to expect. My folding bike could be stored perfectly. WIFI : Good / Mobilephone connection there : Poor. Breakfast : Tasty, with good coffee. It's like staying with family, Uncle André and Aunt Martine.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, peaceful and picturesque location. It is remote, but that adds to it's charm. There is a nearby canal with lock, fishing regions and a small UK-forces memorial close-by. The hosts are very nice, and Alison went out of her way to help us with a small vehicle issue we had, and her English was better than our French, so that was appreciated too. The property includes a gorgeous lake and grounds, for your parusal, and a seating/BBQ area. In the house, the kitchen has almost everything one might need, and I have to say that the showers were the best and most powerful we had used for a long time. All in all, a lovely stay and we might like to return again in the future. Alison, if you can, please offer some water to the memorial some times, as I planted new flowers there. Merci.
