The location was excellent, a 5 minute walk to the main street. The property had everything and more for what you would need. The cottage was modern, yet it still felt like a cottage. My granddaughter loved the bunkbed

The apartment was fabulous and right in town centre in old part of Kendal. Beautifully presented and so comfortable. Louise was very responsive to all my messages. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kendal. Well done!! I’m just sorry I couldn’t spend more time there.

Lovely cottage and an even lovelier host :) Very clean and well maintained, small backyard with a gate, front window overlooking the road. Bus stop right in front of the cottage, to go to Windermere or Kendal directions. All appliances in excellent condition, loved the fact that even the dish scrubber was new. Nice little biscuits and hot chocolate along with tea, coffee and milk which were in abundant supply. Ironing board, cloth dryer stand, all small details well thought of. Brittany was so sweet, she even brought salt, pepper and oil when I mentioned it was not there and we needed it. She also allowed a late checkout with just enough time for them to clean the cottage for the next guest. We had a great stay for 6 nights.

The property is very spacious and the location and views are excellent. The outdoor space was also ideal for bringing a dog and allowed him to roam without us worrying that he would stray too far. There was also an impressive array of cooking/cleaning facilities available which made it easy to self-cater for the full week. All the property information was helpfully contained on a welcome sheet and route maps for nearby walks were also provided which was a lovely touch. The owners are also very welcoming and were happy/quick to help whenever we had questions. Really good spot for family/friend stays as the size of the property is very generous and it is good value for money. We will definitely be back!

    Cottage is cute but spacious with comfy kingsize beds, good shower and nice size kitchen / diner with tv. Has everything you need for a break away self catering and it’s also dog friendly with plenty walks. Perfectly located for parking up for a few days and being able to walk everywhere as it’s right in the heart of Kendal town centre surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurant’s. Short walk to Kendal castle for great views across the town
