Excellent facilities, comfy, all modern and brand new and had everything I needed for my stay. Superb location, quiet but just a short trip into town and was an excellent base for exploring Orkney. The lovely host Dorothy welcomed me when I arrived, and the locally made cheese, biscuits and shortbread were great!

Lovely modern but cosy self-catering option for anyone wanting a peaceful, chilled out stay in Orkney. Just a short walk into Stromness, supermarket and bakery even closer, very well-equipped kitchen with everything needed to stay in (including smart TV) should you choose.     Located right at the ferry wharf it was interesting to watch the activity around the wharf. It was a nice place to wander around Stromness and Stromness was a great base for the island. We arrived to a warm inviting place on a very cold day, the lights and heating had been left on for us. Kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. Off-street parking.

    The keys were in the door on arrival. Two lovely self-catering cottages close to Stromness with fantastic views. Our hostess came to check that all was well soon after we arrived. All the appliances worked well, very nicely furnished. Near to good restaurants, and excellent Co-op in Stromness. Convenient for the ferry, and close to major archaeological sites.
