Comfy bed, lovely clean room, very quiet outside, great that you could have breakfast when you wanted and the fresh bread was delicious. Everything you could need for a short break away was provided including fold up chairs and table for breakfast and fridge was a bonus too.

The appartement was excellent, tasteful with comfortable furniture and had everything we needed inclusive a wonderful view over the harbour. We also loved to be in Whitby, such a beautiful place with a lot of excellent restaurants. We walked along the coast and it was very easy, and cheap, to reach the starting points by bus.

The cottage is small, but perfectly formed, and has everything you need for a great stay, even an initial provision of tea and milk. We went for new year, and the gorgeous lit up Christmas tree greeted us, and so did a bottle of Prosecco. The beds are very comfy, although the stairs are winding, maybe not so good for the infirm, and there are 15 steps up to the cottage, but then you're straight into the middle of the old town, excellent position.

This was an excellent cottage tucked away from the busy church street, It was well equipped and the little garden at the back is lovely we also used the log burner which was a blessing after a cold day out, Location is great, There are steps leading to the property that were not an issue compared to the 199 steps to the Abbey, We would love to go back as would our dogs.

    Good location. Comfortable settee and bed. Good shower. Kitchen had everything needed to holiday self catering (once cleaned and able to use.) The seagulls outside were very noisy, we heard a bit of noise from the Irish pub opposite on the first night but that was it and the stairs to the apartment were narrow and steep. - This was all in the description of the property on booking.com and I liked the honesty in this description.

    A good space to stay in, location good if a little uphill. Not really set up for self-catering though as kitchen lacking a range of pans etc- also no bread knife - but ample plates, mugs etc if all you want to do is sort breakfast before going out for the day. Excellent over-bath shower & generous supply of towels for a 10 night stay
