The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. My partner received a birthday surprise on our day of arrival and it was such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were extremely clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this accommodation!

Exceptional location, beautiful sea view. Staff, more specifically the owner, is a very professional and caring person. The parking is not easy to spot/understand, i suggest to give him a quick call when you're close so he will explain you, basically you have to enter the parking of the adjacent taverna and you'll see the entrance. Be aware that a small car is needed. Wonderful, abundant breakfast, with a more than fair price. Don't forget to buy something to drink since the owner is passionate and very good at making cocktails.

We loved everything about this villa! The location, the views, the beautiful pool and braai area. The attention to detail providing us with everything we need for our holiday - pool towels, sun beds and umbrellas to take to the beach. The layout and furnishing is perfect. So many choices for outdoor seating. A very beautiful villa.

Our host Dimitra was absolutely amazing, very thoughtful and accomodating. She greeted us up on our arrival with everything ready for the next morning breakfast and pastries and a local bottle of wine:). The house was very clean, equipped with everything we needed and Dimitra offered to clean the house half way through our stay. She even gave us some Cretan souvenirs, very kind and thoughtful. Dimitra has been by far one of the best hosts we have encountered during our travels. The house was close to the town centre, 5 minutes drive, yet remote enough to enjoy the most needed piece and quiet. If you don't have a car, there is a local 'train' within 3 minutes walk from the house, that can take you all around Bali village. The property is a good fit for a family, two adults and two children. Having a little terrace where you can have your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine or a cold drink and local fruits after a very busy and hot day was a real plus. We had an amazing stay at Casa Marel and we would to stay there again in the future :)

The location was absolutely excellent—quiet, serene, and incredibly peaceful. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, it offered a perfect oasis for relaxation. The surroundings felt calm and rejuvenating, making it easy to unwind after a busy day. The room was spotless and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming. Plus, the friendly and helpful staff added a personal touch to our stay. All in all, a delightful experience—I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking both tranquility and convenience.

    The captain’s suite is spacious and comfortable. While the three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, and kitchen were all great for our group, the stand out feature is the spacious balcony with an unmatched view of the water. The location at the harbor with plenty of convenient parking and beaches, restaurants, stores, and a supermarket just steps away can’t be beat.

    The room was wonderful, with a superb view. The apartment was perfectly large for 3 people, with a perfectly equipped kitchen and very clean. The beach with fine sand and clear water is very close to the hotel. The whole experience of staying in this location was even more beautiful thanks to Julia's hospitality and positive energy. Julia provided us with all the necessary details, always helped us when we needed it and made the room completely clean, so that we felt like we were at home.

    Good location with off street parking, friendly staff. Great pool area with plenty of loungers. Breakfast was brought to you each morning at a time arranged with you. There is a small kitchen area with a fridge and coffee machine/ kettle etc. Enjoyed our stay so much that we have rebooked for later in the year!

    Pool was kept really clean outdoor area really well laid out, kitchen had everything you needed and overall everything was in a really good condition. You couldn't hear people moving about in the villa which was great.

    Close to all facilities - beach , shops, restaurants within walking distance. Sound proof due to shutters . Upstairs balcony accessed from 2 bedrooms . All kitchen facilities for your stay. We stayed a week and house cleaned and bed and towels changed. Owners meet us on arrival and leaving always available if any issues .

    The building is on the seafront, steps away from the arbour, the beach, restaurants and other shops! Lovely spacious rooms, the hole apartment looked recently renewed and had a fully fitted kitchen including complimentary fruit and drinks and new coffee machine. The main bedroom had a wonderful view of the sea and the arbour and so did the balcony which was furnished with very comfortable chairs and tables

    The villa is brand new and interior design is stylish. All appliances are modern. Kitchen is stocked up with everything you need. The bedding is ideal. The pool is spotless. It was such a pleasure to sit in warmth near the fireplace in the evening. During the day the villa is full of light and a sea view is a huge bonus. There are 3 beaches in the walking distance. Hosts are always there to answer any questions and gave good local tips. Place is highly recommended!
