I stayed at the Ledra for some weeks back in 2016, they had just started a refurbishment of the rooms.. So impressed with the standard of the rooms…5 stars total, such comfortable rooms and lovely shower…Costas is still in the house and always goes the extra mile to make your stay perfect… I have recommended the Ledra to friends who are visiting Crete mid July..

Helen and Spiros are incredibly welcoming hosts, they answered all our questions and gave us suggestions for sights to see and places to visit. The room was very clean and neat and it was tidied up daily. They loaned us beach equipment and even baked us some afternoon treats. We stayed at the Lemon house, which was increadible and had everything we could possibly need for our week stay and the pool area was perfect for relaxing when we didn't feel like driving anywhere. We couldn't be more pleased and if we were ever coming back to Crete the first thing we would do is check if the Guesthouse was available.

Dimitris is truly a five-star host! We had the pleasure of staying in a marvelous place. The house was excellent—clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The location was perfect: a peaceful heaven just 10 minutes from the center of Platanias and its beautiful beaches. Communication with Dimitris was excellent from the very beginning. He responded promptly to our initial inquiries, provided clear and detailed instructions before our arrival, and stayed in contact throughout our stay to ensure everything was going well. We highly recommend Elaida House to anyone seeking a relaxing and high-quality stay! Dimitris, thank you very much for this amazing experience. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. We really liked the apartments - wonderful, new, with new appliances, a coffee maker, etc. We would like to express our gratitude to the owner of the apartments, Eva. Eva is a very kind and attentive hostess: from the welcome fruits, cakes and wine to the advice on choosing the best restaurants with the best prices in the local area. Also, thank you very much for the beach chairs and beach umbrellas that you provided us with for free during our visits to the beach. Thank you very much again, Eva! Regarding Kolymvari. A beautiful town, with a lot of restaurants and an ancient monastery, which is located very close to the city and is worth visiting. Regarding the beach. The apartments are really located literally less than a minute walk from the beach, which could not but please us, as big lovers of swimming. The beach is clean, very large and long, there was enough space for everyone. Perfect for a quiet family vacation, there were many young families with children and seniors. The sea was excellent, calm and warm, only once there were small waves. We really loved the place and strongly recommend everyone to visit both Kolymvari and Eva's apartments!

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by the incredibly kind and thoughtful owner. She clearly cares deeply about her guests’ comfort and experience, and it shows in every detail. The house is located around 30min from Chania, in Sirili village. Definitely a place to stay when you have a car. But worth every penny paid, first of all the place was clean and tidy, fridge was equipped with water, eggs, fruits, juice and even a beer! Fresh fruits on the table ready to eat, clean beddings, towels, equipped with washing machine and even a dryer and basket for laundry. Shapmoo and shower gel available in the bathroom. Small garden next to the house with a swing for kids hanged on a lemon tree... and you can try fresh lemon! Amazing host with a very positive attitude, always smiling and letting us try fruits from his garden. Small balcony available to seat and eat meals and enjoy the beautiful weather... one of the best places we stayed on holidays so far! 11 over 10 stars. We are going to come back to the same place one day...
