Every once in a while you come across places which have something magical in it while it's hard to put your finger on it exactly? Right? La Lune and Fort Kochi combination was exactly this. La Lune is a place to experience utmost warmth, hospitality in a beautifully decorated homestay located right next to Qissa cafe and 100 m from the main Fort Kochi walking district. We had one of our best stays ever + tons of fun. As a seasoned traveller I can count on one hand fingers places I've had such a "emotional battery charging" turnaround stay. We came as highly stressed couple direct from 3-week non-stop intensive work bout and couple of days later left with good memories and smile on our face.

The location is perfect, Johnson and the rest of the family are very helpful, they talk good English and it is easy to communicate with them. Very supportive in all activities you want to arrange or anything you might need. All very clean, filtered water available and kitchen to use if you need it. Comfortable beds. I strongly recommend this place if you are staying in Fort Cochin. We felt at home, and Johson made everything very easy and smooth for us.

The serene retreat was indeed quite serene and peaceful.! All the rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the host was amazing and extremely helpful. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.  Overall, it is a perfect place for a peaceful stay with amazing greenery. The house is very well done, spotlessly clean, and it was such a bliss to be there

We have so many lovely things to say about this stay. We are so happy we chose to stay here. The property is super accessible by Uber, and everywhere around the area is easily travelled to by Uber also, with collection for us being under 10 minutes. It is a 1km walk to the nearest beach at the end of the road, where you can watch fishermen, get a juice/coffee or feed the cute stray dogs. Cherrai Beach is a 30-40 minute Uber ride away, which was really affordable. Public buses are running every few minutes from the top of the road and bring you in both directions, towards Kochi city or to Cherrai beach and further. Multiple shops are within a 5 minute walk from the property - supermarket, food places, pharmacy etc. The area is super quiet and relaxing, we slept so well here. The room is cosy, with a nice seating area outside your room and also upstairs. If you’re a breakfast person you will love this stay. Every day we had something new, we feel like there is something for everyone. If you’ve never had Indian cuisine for breakfast this will be your time to try! :) They were so kind to let us wash our clothes during the stay aswell, supplying us with everything we needed. There was plenty drying space upstairs. The lovely owners are open for chats and are super informative about Kochi and the surrounding areas. We would 100% come back, and would recommend this stay to our friends and family. If you want a relaxing stay with lovely people, this is your go to!

    This is a great comfy little hostel in a great location. Niyas, the host, is prepared to go above and beyond to help you with anything you need, and there is AC and a kitchen! The beds are also very comfortable.

    I travelled solo and was warmly welcomed by the hospitable host. The AC dorm, kitchen space and washing machine were accessible to all the guests. The stay was accessible via ferry, water metro as well as bus. It was near the beach. Very good place to stay.

    I stayed there for 2 days. The hostel is decent, nothing extraordinary, but options in Kochi are limited. There's a kitchen available for use. The owner is friendly, helpful, and flexible. The place is quiet.
