Stayed in a standard studio and took advantage of the well-equipped kitchenette and dining table. The modern country chic room was spacious, the bathroom with heated floors and a rain shower was huge, the beds were comfortable and the hosts were absolutely lovely. The attention to detail was exceptional and the fresh baked cookies were delicious! The location right off the Ring Rd and distance to some tourist highlights in the South could not have been better. Would absolutely stay here again!

A lovely modern cottage or tiny house on surrounded by super friendly sheep farmer families. We felt at home immediately and were lucky to have booked the same location travelling back and forth the south coast. Very close to Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss and Solheimasandur plane wreck. Arrive early and have a walk in the beautifull lush and desolate canyons right past the house. Ideal for couple or family with one or two kids. We'd now recommend to book few days in a row to roam the area.

I am so very happy with our stay at ChickenCoop. The position is amazing, like right out of an National Geographic Picture. It was so peaceful and relaxing, only thing I could hear was the little stream outside our house! House itself was beautifully arranged inside, very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very spacious! I was very pleased to find coffe, oil, tea and other things useful for cooking, as I completely forgot to buy oil 🙄 . Communication with owner was flawless! Directions for check in were very clear. If you are looking for a place were to stay while driving on the ring road, look no further, this place is perfect! ❤ Can't wait to come back soon!

Fantastic apartment for two at an unbelievable location. It is modern, clean and has all that you will need for a short stay. The host is friendly and helpful. Look out for many horses and sheep that graze near the surroundings of the apartment. Definitely recommend it for a short stay near Hvolsvöllur or Vik.

The scenery outside is magnificent! Best place I’ve been so far! You can see northern lights right outside the place. Every morning there are 2 dogs named Pablo and Beychel will show up at your door to play with you which were so cute! They are really well trained too!

Very cosy cottage with a wonderful view towards the mountains. We were a family of 4 with little space and loved it. Small modern and sufficient kitchen were we ate breakfast and cooked easy dinner (one cooking plate).

Amazing place. In the middle of nowhere. Cottage has everything you need for a short stay. The one and only problem can be a noise from bathroom vent system at night, it’s cracking. Everything else is perfect

Absolutely gorgeous accomodation! Everything was perfect, and my parents and I had a lovely stay. Great location, the house is beautifully decorated, its quiet, the views are gorgeous - really can't say anything bad about it. Would definitely come back!
