Our stay at this inn was truly wonderful! The place is spacious and clean, making it a comfortable retreat. The view from the house was absolutely stunning—one of the highlights of our trip. The lodge was incredibly well furnished with extremely good style, Middle East and Japanese style. A complete kitchen with all equipment and items was available. The bath was not with hot spring water but you can use as a real Onsen just with tap water, extremely positive. Yui the owner is a fantastic host and therapist, she practice us a wonderful professional massage in the lodge. TV with Netflix and Prime video was available for a relaxing night like being at home after 10 days of tour. It was a totally different experience in Japan, instead of the usual micro hotel room having a full lodge just for us. I recommend this location if you are in the area. A lot of trails are available in the area, Yui can help you in selecting the most appropriate place to visit.. Absolutely recommendable!!!

Wonderful spot - the dog-friendly room is a huge plus and our primary reason for staying. The entire house worked perfectly for traveling with the pup. We were worried that it would be too far from Kagoshima, but it's so close to the train that it sort of balances out. Kajiki also has a lot of great things going for it - I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice, quiet retreat.
