The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. Thank you Asanka for your concern!

A great location but in the mountain sharply so we were driving a car and got complications in the evening cause buses and other cars come up and down so … but the rest was perfect - a good terrace with Mountain View , very hospitable owners, great breakfast and all what we need as toiletries , towels , separate kitchen . I recommend this place to stay

The view of the mountains is very good, the five-star service, and seeing the landlord busy and smiling every day makes me really feel very comfortable; we booked for one night and decided to stay an extra night just after we checked in. He sent us down the mountain to the supermarket on foot. We use the kitchen to cook, and we will be very enthusiastic to help you if we see what we can do; we will leave for Mirissa by car, and we will send it to the station and wait for the bus to Matale before going back; perfect accommodation, Recommended not to miss; The breakfast is the best in the homestay I have ever stayed in

    The beds were comfortable, the hosts were sweet and helpful, the bathroom and shower were clean, there was a kettle to boil water and a fire to make food as well as a fridge, there was a common area in the kitchen and one by the dorms, really close to the train tracks (so easy to walk around, both into the city and out along the tracks) and easy to find when we first got here.
