Thank you so much Alyson & Tim for such a magical stay. This sweet little bed & breakfast was beautifully positioned on such an idyllic farm with an incredible backdrop to gaze out upon. The bed was super comfortable, and bathroom facilities perfect. Beautiful short car ride to both Hobbiton, Wairere Falls and into the MataMata township. We’ll most certainly be back. Thank you xx

Best place we have stayed in in NZ. Lovely cottage with everything you might need. A lovely host and a wonderful detail area to enjoy the evenings and mornings. Lovely details with homemade cookies and cakes and even fresh fruits when we arrived 🥰 Would have loved to stay longer.

Everything. Very nice, modern, well furnished and equiped apartment with nice kitchen and comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh home made bread, house eggs, home made jogurt was fabulous and fruits from the garden, milk and orange juice was on the fridge and home made cookies were absolutely delicious. I’m coffee lover so I appreciated nesspresso machine with milk steamer (fresh milk was available in the fridge ). I was also very nicely suprised with dyson hairdryer which you can’t see even in the most luxurious hotel. Moreover Kylie (host) was very nice, let our dauther to play in their garden, she let her feed her chickens and ship and let us to take some fruits from her garden. We stayed just for one night, but it was great stay and when we’ll come back to New Zealand we’ll definitely stay here again. Absolutely recommend Matamata country B&B 👍

This was an amazing stay! Our family of 5 was visiting Hobbiton and we needed a place where we could all stay together comfortably. This house had everything we needed and lovely unexpected touches like chocolates and coffee! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Everything! We had a very warm welcome despite our hosts being called away for urgent business. The apartment is delightful, very comfortable with a super welcome pack of food and beverages. The location in the heart of the country is excellent with a beautiful view of the mountains. When the sky was clear the skies were so dark we not only saw the Southern Cross but also the Milky Way. We would stay again and are already recommending the accommodation to others.

We stayed here before our visit to Hobbiton. It was about a 10 minute drive from here, which was perfect for the second breakfast tour. Everything was clean and comfortable. From our room we had a beautiful view of the countryside and the sunset.
