We loved our stay here. The house is a real gem hidden in the jungle, with big and extremely comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen with everything you need and a very pretty bathroom. The porch with the hammack is fantastic, we took our time to relax there and spot the howler monkeys having dinner in the trees right in front of us. It was amazing. I also took a yoga class with Jennifer, the host. If you are into yoga or just want to try it, do not miss out on it.

Everything about the property was fantastic. Great location, the size of the rooms and common areas were very comfortable. And it is located in a great part of the island with some privacy. Also, Karen was a fantastic and incredibly responsive and personable host.

The apartment was amazing, looked very new and modern, was very clean and very comfortable, the location was very near to the restaurants and the center and best part was the host, pinto was an amazing host, always answered the phone no matter the time and was willing to help and give tips on the island and everything. This accommodation is a quite different and adventurous proposition. Accessible only by water taxi, set in a line of houses on stilts which form a small community of families living in both modern and make-shift accommodation. Expect to be immersed in that community - there is a hum and chatter, which we got used to quickly as it became background noise. Our apartment was the upstairs one. A single and very large room with a partitioned bathroom. There was a double bed and a double bunk bed. The kitchen was well equipped (very good fridge-freezer and gas cooker). The views of the water were panoramic through windows looking west, north and east. The balcony was a great place to chill day and night, with both a small sofa and a hammock. We loved dipping into the lifestyle it offered. On one of the three days we were there, we didn't use the water taxi, and just stayed around the apartment and watched the world go by. No aircon, but not needed as there were 6 ceiling fans.

The apartments have everything you need, kitchen with coffee maker and cookware, beds, table, and hot water in the shower. This is usually my first choice to stay in town, good value for the money, and I like being able to make my own coffee; it's easy to get a single serving packet of coffee at the nearby grocery stores. The hosts are kind and attentive. One time the cooking stove gas ran out, and they replaced it in the morning the next day. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a well-rounded, budget-friendly place to stay.
