Faisal and wife are very friendly and welcoming. They are both educated and fully fluent in English, and Mrs Faisal is practically bilingual. They do their best to provide comfortable experience to the guests. Their home had a "design" feel to it. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and modern. The wash basin is touch of class! We were served with nice welcome tea & snacks. Tea was also served many times during our stay. The hosts provided lots of information on culture, local attractions, and many different subjects. We enjoyed our pithy chat with them. The house is surrounded by small seating area in front and a garden at the back, both with shady trees, very pleasant. The location of the house is a bit far from the (hustle & bustle of) main bazaar and it's within walking distance to the interesting site of Buddha Rock, a must visit site if you are in Skardu! Faisal's wife kindly walked us up to it. The resort is perfect if you look for friendly life in a family home.

This hotel is a gem! The location was perfect, The room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. A Home Away from Home in the Heart of Nature Our stay at Mountain Face Guest House was simply amazing. The hospitality of Mr. Sana Ullah and his son Haseeb made us feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay. We even cooked our own meals, and Haseeb was always there to assist us — just like a family member. The environment was warm and friendly, with breathtaking views all around. The guest house is beautifully nestled among mountains and greenery, offering a peaceful retreat away from the city rush. One of the best parts is that Manthal Buddha Rock is just a 15-minute walk from the guest house — a perfect short hike to an amazing historical site. Also, the breakfast was amazing! Make sure to try the local breakfast — it’s fresh, delicious, and a great way to start your day. Would definitely love to come back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Skardu!
