Quite new apartment, clean, fresh, comfortable. Good location, if you have a car and want to explore the island- not far from the highway, We also walked to town, but you need to be fit for that - the road is steep to get back. Parking seemed limited, if you have a car, book parking right away

The apartment had absolutely everything you need for self catering. Comfortable bed. Plenty of towels. Washing machine facilities. More importantly unbelievable sea views. Very spacious self contained apartment. Additional extras available were shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, cleaning products, tennis rackets, snorkeling fins, books, brochures, bottle openers, salt / pepper, sandwich wrapping, spare shopping bags.... you name it, it was present. Bars restaurants and shopping near bar. An unbelievable pastry place around the corner. Also traditional sea food restaurant. Walking distance to Funchal. About 40 minutes of stunning views and nice places to take a break along the way.

Loved our stay, Lynne to owner was lovely and so helpful with giving us lifts to and from the airport bus stop. She had supplied some food and drink to get us started which was really nice and helpful. Property was spotless and had everything we needed for a great week in Medeira. I would highly recommend and would love to stay here again

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful place! From the moment we arrived, Sara gave us a warm and friendly welcome, making us feel right at home. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need, and the highlight was definitely the jacuzzi on the terrace! The kids absolutely loved the inflatable toys and games provided, which kept them entertained for hours. And let’s not forget the cozy hammock, perfect for unwinding with a good book (from the personal library of Sara) or simply enjoying the surroundings. This place had everything we needed for a perfect family vacation, and we enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun stay with kids!

    The apartment is spacious and very well located. It's a few minutes walk from the downtown and several places you're probably planning to visit in Funchal. The views from the balconies are also beautiful. There is a good kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge, however, we couldn't find pans. Our stay was great and I do recommend the place.

    The property has everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. Lots of kitchen equipment for self-catering, spacious balcony for private outdoor relaxation, large rooftop pool area with plenty loungers - always very quiet so this felt private too, and additional pool towels supplied surplus to bathroom linens were much appreciated.

    This is a lovely apartment. The kitchen has everything required for good self-catering. The bed is very comfortable. The shower is great. Air-conditioning is excellent. The rooms are spacious and bright. The windows all have full blinds. The description says it includes a balcony, which it does, but not the type you can sit on as it's very narrow. Everything was perfectly clean. It's safe and secure. The location is perfect, with the main centre of Funchal right on the doorstep.

    Convenient and affordable property in the very heart of the old town - literally on the doorstep. Fully equipped kitchen suitable for a self-catering stay, but plenty of good restaurants also nearby. Complimentary car parking for our rental car in the nearby Almirante Reis multi-story car park. Sound insulation was generally good (apart from occasional dog barking in the night and a noisy toddler in the appt above for a few days).
