We enjoyed getting to know our host and hearing of the history of this traditional Portuguese property. We enjoyed the fruit trees and the pool, and beautiful view of the valley, the Church bells ringing, vineyards, and walk through the local neighborhood. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean, and had everything we needed to cook our own meals, and eat outside or inside. Although located in mountain village, the stores were still fairly close by, along with numerous places to visit, including a tranquil river beach. We feel we made new friends!

Excellent apartment. So comfy with everything you need for a super get away. The bed was so comfortable which is what you want away from your own bed. Wine and chocolate a lovely touch and the wine was super! Easy to check in. Great location. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend you stay here. Bakery next door too. Doesn’t open until 10 though which is strange. However great bakery down the road to the right.
