This property is fantastic budget accommodation. Carlos is a great host and makes you feel that you are in a home away from home. There is a very clean white sandy beach beside the property. The surrounding areas feel very safe all the locals here are friendly and there is no hassle from anyone. I didn’t want to leave! I can’t finish the review without mentioning Bob the dog he is a real character 😀.

It’s beautiful, serene and private. Loved the private pool and the quaint nature of the entire place. I think it only had 8 units. So didn’t feel like cattle and felt exclusive. There was nothing too big, they accommodated and they made a plan. Loved it.

The apartment was lovely and clean and perfectly situated on the beach. There were plenty of choices for food around the area and the staff were so helpful if you wanted to go anywhere a bit further. As it was Ramadan, I used the hotel next door to use the private beach and have lunch and coffee during the day. Freddie, the chef, cooked a beautiful breakfast daily with pancakes, a full fry up and fresh fruit and he was very friendly. He also offered lunch and dinner. Suleiman took me to the cash point and shop when I needed which wasn't far and I could have walked but it was quite hot so it made it easier to drive. The locals and Messai's were very helpful and would walk with me when I couldn't find restaurants I was trying to get to. I felt very safe with the Messai security and people around the accommodation. The restaurant next door served amazing fresh lobster for such a reasonable price and the local beach had beautiful wildlife like starfish and sea urchins.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Villa Julito, hosted by the wonderful Carlos and Adriana. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly helpful and made our trip truly unforgettable. The villa itself was not only very beautiful and clean, but it also had a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The air conditioning was ready for us upon arrival, which was a fantastic relief. There are wonderful restaurants nearby such as Marto boutique hotel which we highly recommend. If you're looking for a more convenient food option, we also recommend Si Burgers outside the compound. They serve delicious food and even deliver right to the villa. The beach is also a stone’s throw away. The villa is private, offering a peaceful retreat, and we felt completely safe throughout our stay, thanks to the excellent security measures in place. The staff was also amazing, which made our experience even better. They were always friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Carlos and Adriana went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided great recommendations for local attractions and were always available to assist us whenever we required help. The outside facilities were also clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall experience. We highly recommend Villa Julito to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway - it’s a true gem.

Gorgeous location, hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. They even went to the nearest town to get milk and water for us (due to location shops are a car ride away). Onsite restaurant is wonderful, lovely warm staff who were fab with my little girl. Amazing pools and the villa is exceptional.

This place is incredible. Location (5 mins walk from beach and numerous shops and restaurants nearby) Spacious, comfortable and light room and outdoor area, while nicely private Great well-equipped open-air kitchen, with washing machine and drying lines Host was always on-hand to address any questions or needs we had Nice back-up for power outages (didn't really notice other than one extended outage, which is normal for Zanzibar) Wifi good enough for remote working
