Very large and felt like we had our own house right in the middle of the town. The proprietors were very kind and you could tell they loved their place as did we. We ate downstairs at the owner’s son‘s restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. They are very kind. Michelin star service but still had a fun casual vibe. The photo I included of a building is not the townhouse but just wanted to show the beautiful mountains views in Mittenwald.

Das Ludwig-Haus Hochland was the perfect place to stay in Garmich-Partenkirchen. The apartment was well appointed and extremely clean. The host was very kind and responsive. Easy access and parking for our large van. The host was quick to answer questions and very kind. The apartment is very well stocked with everything you might need to eat/prepare meals. There is also a cabinet available with extra toiletries/essentials in case those were forgotten. There are many fliers available with information about various places to visit and things to do. The visitor cards were a nice surprise with many options for use. The area is beautiful and we wished we could have explored/enjoyed it for a few more days.
