Every room of Tampere Maja has a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Breakfasts are served in the kitchen on the ground floor. There are additional kitchen facilities on each floor for all of the guests. Tampere Maja is a guesthouse founded by Tartu and Tampere. It is a small cosy house with some 7 rooms. It is very close to the centre but located in a quiet street. There is a gallery on the ground floor. The rooms are simple but clean and have everything one needs. Wifi works well. There is also a kitchen with a kettle and a fridge (and more, but I did not need a kitchen, so I did not check). Breakfast is served from 8 am, it is rather simple but fine. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at the Tampere Maja and would not hesitate to stay there again if back to Tartu.

It has a terrace which we unfortunately couldn't use due to the cold weather but it looks very nice. The sauna was wonderful and the apartment is located close to restaurants and shops.

The apartment was very newly remodeled with very good furnishings. The location right next to the botanical garden and the river was excellent, and just a short walk into the city center.

The free parking spot right next to front door was great and the fact that when you step outside the apartment’s door, you are already outside and next to the parking spot.

Everything is thought through and I enjoyed every minute of my stay there.

Although you are in a center, the apartment is very quiet. It has also a small balcony that can be enjoyed during warmer weather.
