It takes approximately 20 minutes to Paris, but exploring the area of Chatou, Le Vesinet and Saint Germain en Leye was the most appreciated part of our trip. Make sure not to skip it.

We did not have a car, and once we figured out the bus line/service it made the entire town availalbe. We loved Rambouilette and hope to come back for future visits. It's proximity to Paris and Versailles is perfect and the people are very nice.

Often such places are rather cheap and shabby, but here, everything feels fresh, stylish, and tidy. The stay at Les Tournelles was a beautiful experience for my girls, and even climbing the famous stairs for them was another reason to feel excited - we travel light and we are not tall :) . We would so gladly stay there again, it felt like home away from home. And the location is perfect!
