It was a perfect “middle way” between a hotel and a hostel, with what you want from a hotel - your own room with comfortable beds with lovely crisp sheets plus own toilet & shower - AND everything that’s nice about a hostel - kitchen and cooking facilities, here spotlessly clean. The people who ran the place could not have been nicer or more welcoming.
