This time I got a newlyvrenovated superior room which was spacious. Nice balcony with a flowering tree in front. As always the friendly and warm hearted host Dimitris did all to make my stay exceptional. WIFi problems were resolved the same day. Dimitris gives all his heart and power into the maintainance and improvement of his place. It’s a restful quiet oasis I can highly recommend

Great host (Loukas) - provided transport to and from the ferry, facilitated a quick check-in and gave us the island basics. Makares is just a short walk to the center of the village. Great seaview, clean - as advertised. Felt comfortable to spend a couple of days there.

Along the way he shared details about the city and island. The home was STUNNING. Of all the small cyclades we traveled to, this was the best lodging. It was SPACIOUS. The patio was fantastic. Lots of very charming details. It was so nice to get up to a higher elevation and AWAY from the town. We loved waking up and having coffee on the patio while listening to goat bells. It was well-situated between attractions on the island. The bus is frequent, but if you can bring a car to the island that is a major bonus as this house is NOT within walking distance of anything (which we loved).
