The hotel offers plenty of outdoor space alongside your bedroom and shared bathrooms. The bedroom was secure and reasonably spacious. The fan was effective however opening the door was the best way to cool the room as you tried to cool down before bed. The bathrooms are ‘no frills’ but effective. The kitchen now serves basic breakfasts from 6.30am for cQ30. There are restaurants and bars in other nearby hotels.

We had a great time in Vista Verde! Cosy and clean cabanas were equiped with handy mosquito nets, we also enjoyed view of the green hills in front of our casita. Another great this was the kitchen - we really enjoyed their breakfasts. There is also swimming pool and relax zone with hammocks.

Our stay at Casa was fantastic. David is a real star, along with crafty kitchen staff like Olga. Always willing to help and being knowledgeable. If you plan to do Semuc Chempey tour, definitely ask David to take you. I can't imagine a better guide, super positive and fun. The rooms are simple but enough and the restaurant has great food at a more than fair prices l would stay there again

The staff were all helpful and nice. The dorm is just a set of bunk beds so I had a private room for the night. Warm shower. The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel/hostel ever. There is a kitchen guests can use but they charge Q20 to use it. They helped me with the bus to Lanquín and transport from Lanquín to Antigua, but it would have been Q25 cheaper to book the transport to Antigua in Lanquín. And if you book a shuttle in Lanquín they pick you up and you don't have to go to the bus stop yourself.

The hostel is nice and clean, with sitting areas indoors and in a small covered garden. There is a large shared kitchen with a gas hob and breakfast is included. It is in a fairly quiet street within walking distance of the market and about 20 mins to the national park.

This place is right in the heart of the small town of Lanquin. There’s nothing much to do in town everyone uses this as a passing place to Semuc Champey. However this family ran business was very sweet. They over you earplugs, soap, extension lead, shampoo and a towel on arrival. There are a couple of showers and bathrooms dotted around. The views from the hotel are beautiful as it site right in the valley of the mountain range. The kitchen also over breakfast for Q30 eat in or take away, 07:30-10:00 perfect snack for any tour!
