It’s brand new, opened last year and everything is spotless and really well thought out, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. All the staff are wonderful and the breakfast every morning was like a cultural experience in itself. Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Luang Prabang. We also had our laundry done here and they rented us a moped for the whole stay at a very good price. It’s run by a hard working and honest family, and they are wonderful hosts and all around lovely people. I would book this place again in a heartbeat if I ever come back to Luang Prabang!

The apartment features family rooms. Sokview Residence is a brand new apartment building sitting right on the Mekong bank a short walk or ride out of the city center. We have been to Luang Prabang several times and as far as we can see this place is the only one around that features contemporary design and amenities. We stayed here for almost three weeks and to be clear: It was GREAT! Our apartment was very nice! Practical, clean, full kitchen, washing machine etc etc. Add to that a full 180 view of the Mekong river from your balcony. The staff was polite and helpfull and the owner (that can be reached by QR codes to SoMe posted on the wall) was friendly and accommodating. The Sokview rates are cheaper than most hotels in LP, so this is really a no-brainer. This is the place to stay in wonderful Luang Prabang. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
