The apartment is a luxury condo with a great view, something like this would be $400 a night on Miami Beach. And it has all the right touches and amenities to be up to top Western standards. The service by Camilas is better than what you get in a 5-star Western hotel, for example I was worried about an airport transfer in the middle of the night, so he drove me himself in his own car as a courtesy. That's just his level of thoughtful service. This is the best of the best for my trip in Sri Lanka.

Malheureusement, je n'ai pas pu dormir dans les lieux pour cause de problèmes de santé. Cependant, j'ai pu voir l'appartement quelques heures : il est très luxueux, propre, confortable, lumineux et tranquille. Il donne sur une petite cour, c'est un quartier résidentiel donc très calme. On peut aller à pied jusqu'à l'océan où on trouve des restaurants. L'hôte a été très accommodant, et très gentil au vu de la situation, je le remercie ! Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep in the place due to health problems. However, I was able to see the apartment for a few hours: it is very luxurious, clean, comfortable, bright and quiet. It overlooks a small courtyard, it is a residential area so very quiet. You can walk to the ocean where there are restaurants. The host was very accommodating, and very kind considering the situation, I thank him a lot !

Maria Villa is in a quiet backstreet close to the beach. Comfortable room. Janet the owner is lovely and very helpful with booking tours and local information. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, spacious and confortable full AC rooms.

Situé à seulement 4 km de la ville de Negombo, le Villa Shade est un établissement à la gestion familiale charmant et paisible entouré de jardins verdoyants. Villa Shade is a hidden gem! The property was beautiful with lovely tropical gardens and comfortable rooms (with a fabulous outdoor bathroom). Shiraj was a lovely host who cares deeply about the property and his guests. They have created a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere and even grow an all organic garden on the property! All of the staff was helpful and hospitable during our stay and accommodated a very early morning checkout time- we wished we had more nights to spend at this hotel.
