We enjoyed walking in the woods and also sitting on the decking birdwatching and enjoying the view. The cabin is very well insulated and the air conditioning is very good. The staff were very friendly and quick to find a solution when we reported a problem with the plumbing.

We had everything we needed for our short weekend stay. A particularly nice touch was the "mini-bar" option, where you could conveniently select a drink and pay on the spot using a bank card.

This place also includes jacuzzi, which is awesome. Engure is a small fishing village, so it's pretty quiet there and beaches are not over-crowded.

Despite the language barrier, we communicated effectively with the help of their daughter and translation apps. Parking is available either inside the premises for an extra 5€ (right in front of the building) or outside for free. The apartment is well-equipped with everything necessary, including a large fridge, dishwasher, washing machine + drying rack, and smart TV. plenty of cutlery, plates, etc. which is often missing in other apartments. There’s also a very nice terrace, although I didn’t get a chance to use it. Overall, highly recommended!
