All units at the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a kitchenette. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom with a shower, while selected rooms have a balcony and others also provide guests with city views. The location, staff, and facilities were excellent. Alan, who managed the hotel, was incredibly helpful and friendly, and all staff did excellent service, and we felt right at home here. On the map the hotel looks out of the centre but actually is a really good location, only a nice safe 10 minute walk to old town. Lots of small shops and nice eating places a few minutes walk away. Importantly it's quiet and has great views which is relaxing as Guanajuato was very busy for holidays. We really recommend this place to stay... best accomodation we had in Mexico. I highly recommend Guanajuato and Quinta Mercedes.... it's better than San Miguel de Allende!

The hotel’s just 500 meters from downtown, with stunning views of the colorful houses day or night. Our suite was spacious at 65㎡, with its own little garden for soaking in the scenery. The design screamed vibrant Mexican charm—think colorful curtains, wall art, table decor, throw pillows, lamps, even a tissue box with floral patterns. Stepping inside, the living room with perfect lighting: the main light cast a soft, warm glow, and extra lights by the sofa chased away every shadow. It felt eco-friendly yet bright enough to light up the whole space. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, and dishes, making everything super convenient. The living room and bedroom were separated by a wooden handmade partition, which was great for privacy if you’re traveling with others. The bedroom was cozy, carrying that same colorful Mexican vibe. The bathroom was tucked off to the side, simple yet elegant, with a big cabinet for organizing towels, facecloths, and a laundry basket. It was spotless—no weird smells or water stains—and the mirror above the sink sparkled. The hotel’s garden downstairs was gorgeous, perfect for sipping drinks, barbecuing, or taking stunning photos anywhere you point your camera. They even incorporated Guanajuato’s mining history with a cool spiral tunnel leading to the parking garage.

Flo and Rene were super hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. We arrived earlier than check in time and left later than check out time and they accommodated us, no problem. The breakfast was excellent and through chatting with them we learned a lot about Guanajuato and their families. The locale is ideal… but if you walk home it will test your legs on the uphill. 😆 We used the pool and relaxed on their deck. It was all excellent.

You basically have a room in a colonial mansion with lovely art work and decor. We didn’t use all the facilities as we were out exploring much of the time, but a living room and dining room were available for our use. We did use the shared kitchen, which was like a commercial kitchen. Continental breakfast was included and coffee and tea and pastries were available throughout the day. The room was cleaned daily which was nice and laundry was available for an extra charge. Very quiet location. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the historic Center.

The apartment was so pretty, the architecture was impressive and decor was also traditional with very good taste
