The location was perfect, close enough to the train station, in the centre of town, but quiet bedroom at back of building. Hosts had thought of everything and more - extra touches appreciated!

Isle and Jan greeted us with smiles that made us feel instantly at home. They took the time to get to know us, offering valuable insights into the local area and suggesting hidden gems to explore. The tranquil ambiance of De Kamer combined with the heartfelt hospitality of Ilse and Jan, created an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. The property has an outdoor dining area. Comfortable accommodations in beautifully restored historic building in downtown Hoorn. Arie, the host, was wonderful! He responded to inquiries promptly, welcomed me upon arrival and made me feel at home immediately, arranged for additional garden furniture, dinnerware, etc. to accommodate me hosting my family and friends in the beautiful church garden. Restaurants, stores, sights all within walking distance. Kitchenette equipped with everything one needs for breakfast, lunch, and easy dinners.

Top notch with everything so well done. Roomy and spacious, with high ceilings and light flooded rooms gave the little apartment a super high end feel. Lovingly well thought out details throughout the flat -no shortcuts. We loved the adjustable bed, walk in closet, furnishings and Leony’s touches throughout. The breakfast absolutely amazing…fresh squeezed orange Joyce, local breads and cheeses, … Ontbijt bin De Boerenmeid is one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. Her husband was very poorly but she still made me breakfast at 7am. So kind. It’s a beautiful place.
