Small and cozy, have everything we needed in the unit, a small kitchen. The place has its own parking area just next to the houses. Great location and we felt like we were on a cruise trip when looking out from the window. We also found the guestbook super interesting, the first guest feedback dated before I was born (in the 1990s).

The location is just as perfect as possible - easy accessible to all you need: port, center, hiking trail, gas station, car rental and at the same time quite remote from the crowd. Rorbu is a perfect combination of traditional style and modern design. Must stay here if you want to experience traditional Norwegian house. Kitchen is equipped with everything. On site there is a restaurant and floating sauna - great opportunity to relax after a hike. A lot of trail running options as well. Team is great and helpful, always in contact and giving essential info and recommendations.

The cabin was cozy with lots of space to cook and relax. The breakfast was a highlight meal of the trip - incredible selection of delicious food! We booked a sauna session and loved that you could jump into the sea from the dock, and that we could pop over to our cabin in between hot/cold. Great location for many nearby hikes and to visit nearby towns.

Perfect for our one night stay. We needed to leave before breakfast so the staff packed us to-go meals. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had in Norway. Would definitely stay here again.

We also liked to stay in a local, not touristy neighborhood.

This was one of our best and most memorable stays anywhere! Inside the Glampingdome is luxurious with high quality furnishings and bedding. I don’t know how I’ll ever go camping without matching powered recliners again 😂. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. There was a high degree of attention to detail throughout. Since I didn’t have a phone number to call to reserve a complimentary parking space with the partnered car rental company, the owner kindly assisted me in making the reservation. - The apartment is exceptionally spacious and sparkling clean. Everything appears brand new. - We had a movie night using the enormous TV. - The kitchen is ample for preparing delicious meals. - We arrived at the apartment via Hurtigruten cruise. It’s just a short walk from the port.
