Located in Ohakune at the foothills of Mt Ruapehu, Rocky Mountain Chalets Ohakune provides home away from home accommodation with own parking and decks plus private in room free Wi-Fi with smart TV's. Some chalets have mountain views. We have a 16 person meeting room, access to 3 deep soak hot tubs, infrared sauna and a vending machine for drinks and snacks plus a Bike washing station.

Full kitchens with dish washers A beautiful cabin, lovely, modern, clean and heaps of room for 4 adults. The lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. We will be going back for another stay. An easy walk to the town centre.

We enjoyed cycling and walking. Very clean. We had one lovely bedroom and shared the lounge and eating area with another couple which was great fun. Plenty of space in the shared part of the property. Breakfast was great. Met the hosts Ron and Allison on the last night and they are lovely friendly people.

It had everything we needed. There is no TV or internet, which made for a more peaceful and relaxing stay. Ohakune is only a short drive away, via a backroad. The apartment can comfortably host 4 people, and the space in the living room and dining area are quite large.
