We rented a villa on the second line, but was upgraded to a room on the first line by the ocean, it was incredibly kind. The villa itself is amazing, incredible terrace with a view of the sunset ocean, comfortable bed, good repair, the kitchen is well equipped, but keep in mind that if you are going to cook, you also need to bring basic products like salt with you. This villa combined with the beauty of the island definitely deserves to come back here again. Thank you <3

The propietors met us and handed over the key and gave a a quick tour to show us where things were located.

The staff was amazing and the wonderful character of the place! Beautiful doesn’t really capture how amazing it was! We had everything we needed and the customer service was above and beyond. We also enjoyed our meals we ate on site. Wish we had eaten there more than one dinner! Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to stretch out in the house. We did not attempt to cook in the house but were easily able to prepare picnic lunches and snacks in it.

The Cão & Calf features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Faja Grande, 600 metres from Praia Faja Grande. The property has mountain and garden views. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. One of the best stays I’ve experienced. The view and beautiful surroundings are incredible and would be enough to make the stay worth it, but on top of that the house is lovely and very well taken care of, rooms are newly refurbished with great attention to detail and the one I stayed in has everything you might need, including kitchen and appliances. Owners are super nice and friendly, and have fresh bread and sometimes other fresh products for the guests. You can see waterfalls from the couch! Nice little cherry on top: relax in the jacuzzi in front of the ocean and mountains or walk 10 mins to the nearest waterfall and take a swim in the natural pool. What more could one want?
