The house is beautifully located at the edge of a lake, offering breathtaking views. Upon arrival, Stefan had already heated the cabin for us, making it warm and cozy. As soon as we looked out the window, we were treated to an incredible northern lights show – an absolutely magical welcome! The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

LKAB Visitor Centre is 20 km from the holiday home, while Esrange Space Center is 34 km away. Kiruna Airport is 12 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We can see Aurora right at River Camp when the weather is good. In winter, we can walk to Ice Hotel through the iced river and it's pretty safe. There's free shuttle service from airport to River Camp and the host is really friendly.

The house was spotlessly clean. The bed and mattress are of exceptional quality so we had a perfect night's sleep. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The owners, Rita and Micke, live nearby and are very friendly and discreet. The stuga is the ideal base for exploring the area around Bjorkliden and Abisko.

Nice deck to sit outside. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

What was supposed to be only a stop on my drive back to Finland from Norway, really turned into a surprisingly relaxing and beautiful time. The interior of the place is lovely and the hosts very, very nice! Totally recommend!

The "Winter" apartment on the second floor was spacious, clean, well-equipped, quiet (we were the only guests staying there), and very comfortable. Highly recommend.
