Beautiful shared space for a short stay with a beautiful ocean view and access to an inviting swimming pool. We did not make the time to enjoy the pool on this visit; next time. The space was well organized with bins to store food items and access to fridge space on a nice outdoor veranda overlooking plush trees and a spectacular view of the ocean. Thank you for a wonderful first stop on the island. Great first impression!

This 4-star inn offers a shared kitchen, a concierge service and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 22 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. We stayed at Mahana House for two nights and absolutely loved it. The cottage was beautiful and incredibly comfortable — the bed even had adjustable firmness settings! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and there was a laundry room where we could wash and dry our clothes for free. The cat was adorable, and for the first time, my husband changed his opinion about cats — he actually liked this one! Randy takes great care of the orchard, and the longans were delicious. We truly appreciated the peaceful surroundings — it was perfect for mindfulness and relaxation. We shared photos on Instagram, and so many of our friends are now planning to visit too! It’s about a 15-minute drive from Hilo town, so having a car is necessary — but totally worth it. This place is truly a dream stay. Highly recommended!
