Upon our arrival, we met the property owners, who prior to our arrival gave us some information on favorite local eateries and places to see. We were provided with a day pass to Hunting State Park, saving us sixteen dollars. Upon arrival we met the property owners, who were very personable but not busybodies, friendly yet professional. After speaking with them for a bit- we are chatty- they directed us to the grocer and left us to our evening. We had room 1, a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, television upstairs and down, an incredibly comfortable king size bed, and a fantastic shower. Toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a full sized blow dryer. We were offered a discount on am extra night if we decided we wanted to stay, no one was in our room that night, we had to decline but it was an offer we would have accepted had our schedules allowed. Downtown Beaufort with shopping, restaurants, art, park, playground, etc. is less than a mile from the property and is easily walkable. There was honestly nothing that we weren’t impressed with. There is a little table with umbrella and chairs on the private patio and we sat and watched the birds bathe in the bird baths on the front garden, which is shaded by a beautiful magnolia tree and ground covering of ivy and periwinkle. Just beautiful grounds.
