This is the most amazing place! Excellent, excellent value. It's directly across from the beach, about an easy mile walk from the historical barrio, and it's absolutely darling. It has a full kitchen, bath, facilities like a coffee maker and microwave, and there's even an inflatable spa on the patio you can use (with permission from the owner please). And don't get me started on the owner Rosana, she has been just wonderful to work with. I want to give her a hug but she's off-site! She is wonderful! This is the best place to visit.

We spent 2 nights at Caliu Earthship Ecolodge with our child, and it was wonderful from the very beginning! We were warmly welcomed - the hosts turned out to be incredibly kind and attentive. Our room was ready upon arrival, complete with a comfortable baby crib for our little one. The room was warm and cozy despite the unusual eco-architecture - everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort. The place itself is very peaceful and atmospheric, with a true sense of connection to nature. The buildings are unique yet functional, and very pleasant to be in. We especially remember waking up to frost on the grass - it felt like authentic country life! We particularly want to mention the restaurant - both dinners and breakfasts were delicious, served in a homely, friendly atmosphere. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unusual yet comfortable stay in harmony with nature! We'll definitely be back!

The helpful pre- check-in communication, the beautiful location, ALL of the staff from the the first welcome to the last goodbye and everything in between. What a gem. The accommodation was wonderful, we didn’t drive there but had free access to bikes for exploring the area around the vineyard, and the unique /boutique vineyard itself is beautifully maintained lovely pool and we were delighted by the sights and sounds of birds. Of course the wine was superb and the food delicious beautifully prepared and presented. We want to come back

The place is lovely with character in an excellent location. I was very comfortable there and I’m very grateful.

All units comprise a seating area with a sofa bed, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including an oven, a fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. All units will provide guests with a outdoor furniture and a kettle. Tidy clean accommodation, sheets to be purchased separately (we opted without), pay cash or 10% more via transfer (no way to get cash in Colonia). Walkable distance to Las Liebres (highly recommend for morning coffee, it’s the only place to get one close by, but event to go to lunch and dinner it’s an experience in itself). Beach is 20-25min walking, with a beach bar but closed Mondays and Tuesday so need to go further to get somewhere to eat, town is 45min walking.
