This is the most amazing place! Excellent, excellent value. It's directly across from the beach, about an easy mile walk from the historical barrio, and it's absolutely darling. It has a full kitchen, bath, facilities like a coffee maker and microwave, and there's even an inflatable spa on the patio you can use (with permission from the owner please). And don't get me started on the owner Rosana, she has been just wonderful to work with. I want to give her a hug but she's off-site! She is wonderful! This is the best place to visit.

This is a beautiful property just a few minutes drive away from the old town / central Colonia. We absolutely loved the beautiful grounds, the adorable suites, and the cozy atmosphere of the property. Breakfast was lovely.

The guest house has four very spacious and modern rooms, with seating on both sides. The newly built swimming pool with comfortable loungers around the pool in the middle of the vines deserves special mention. The staff also deserves special mention, who are always friendly and helpful. Federico, the manager of the complex, looked after us with humor and a lot of knowledge. He showed us around the wine cellar and the rest of the complex. The highlight of the stay was the wine tasting with a wonderful platter of delicacies. The whole thing was only surpassed by the asado. A selection of meat that is second to none was served to us right by the fireplace.

Tidy clean accommodation, sheets to be purchased separately (we opted without), pay cash or 10% more via transfer (no way to get cash in Colonia). Walkable distance to Las Liebres (highly recommend for morning coffee, it’s the only place to get one close by, but event to go to lunch and dinner it’s an experience in itself). Beach is 20-25min walking, with a beach bar but closed Mondays and Tuesday so need to go further to get somewhere to eat, town is 45min walking.
