There is also a microwave, minibar and a kettle. I loved that the place was inside a beautiful gated wildlife preserve. I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.

South Safari Lodge was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed on holiday. We felt so welcomed, comfortable and at home. The lodge was clean and beautiful, the food was delicious and everyone working there was beyond kind. Even more exceptional were the animals walking right through the property, the ease of booking a safari tour through the lodge, and proximity to Kruger.
