The hotel was excellent for our needs. Especially, the rooms were really clean, the owners were very kind and flexible to serve our requests. It was a surprise how close the hotel is to the "bergbahn", but it is still in convenient distance to the center of the village.

We knew the property was fairly remote - towards the end of a beautiful valley. But we hadn't anticipated just how much its location would be such a powerful positive. Beauty amidst stillness. The facilities, kitchen, etc, exceeded our expectations given the price-point. And a balcony, too, to sit, read, and look at the scenery. Although remote, Virgen itself - with free parking - was a quick drive away - cafes, great coffee shop/bakery and a well-stocked supermarket, and there were some great walks from the doorway, plus some amazing ones twenty minutes away in the car. The waterfalls beyond Hochbichl left us breathless in awe. Irene was a great host, welcoming us warmly and coming back almost immediately with any queries we had.

The friendly staff and the meals served were very nice. The beds where the comfiest I experienced in my last stays abroad. The room itself was very spacious and luxurious.

Modern and well-equipped apartment with smart floor plan. We had a nice view to the west, even from the bedroom, where there's direct access to a terrace. The kitchen has everything you need or even more (filter and Nespresso coffee machines, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven ...), sponges, clothes and detergents were prepared to be used and space is efficiently used. There's a complimentary washing machine in the house. The retractable couch is usable for two additional guests, but then it would get busy since it takes up almost all space in the living room part. We enjoyed all the benefits of modern smart TV, using our own apps and accounts. The retail shops (Billa, Spar) are only 100 meters away, and the bottom station of Matrei skilift is situated 300 meters away, so it can be easily accessed on foot. Of course, there's a vast space for skis and ski boots on the lower floor.

Featuring quiet street views, Chalet West features accommodation with patio, around 31 km from Lago di Braies. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

The appartment VILLGRATEN was very nice and comfortable even for 4 persons. The equipement is new and stylish. Hofer supermarket just around the corner. Near to the italian border (good starting point also for trips to Dolomites - Tre Cime ca 50 min by car).
