The on-site manager was so friendly and helpful, with great advice for hikes, activities and places to see. Great, well-equipped kitchen. It's a great location if you have a car, since it's several km's outside of Fort William itself. But still close enough to take advantage of the many hikes and activities in and around Fort William as well as Glenfinnan. I didn't have the breakfast, so can't comment. Clean, rather modern bathrooms and there were plenty of them. Nice showers! Parking right outside the hostel was safe. Highly recommend.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly gave our stay its soul was William. The location was excellent. Right next to the train and bus station. Lots of restaurants around. The room was cosy and nice. The bathroom was big, and everything was cleaned every day. There was a problem with the bolier the first morning, but theybsort it out fairly quickly during the day, and after that, everything worked jurt fine, and heating in the room was perfect. Breakfast was great because it was buffet style and had a wide selection of food, including vegetarian options The hotel is old, but I think that it is pretty well maintained, and it has its own charm. I would stay here again.
